Our beginning

A personal journey that shaped our purpose

Our founder, Vijay Singh Thakor, grew up in Nalani, a village in Jalna district. After Class 10, continuing his education meant moving away from home. With his family’s support, he moved to Aurangabad—a decision that opened new possibilities for his future.

He went on to serve in the Indian Army and the Indian Administrative Service before becoming an entrepreneur and founding GeBBS Healthcare Solutions.

His experience stayed with him. Many students in and around his village had ambitions of their own, but lacked the resources and opportunities to pursue them. Helping students overcome those barriers became a guiding purpose of GeBBS Foundation.

Financial difficulties, limited access to educational opportunities and a lack of guidance can prevent students from continuing their studies. GeBBS Foundation works to address these barriers so that students from underserved communities can pursue further education and build towards meaningful careers.

Supporting Women's Health

A personal loss. A commitment to care.

The loss of a grandmother to cervical cancer brought the importance of women’s healthcare close to home for the founding family.

In communities across Jalna and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, limited awareness and difficulty accessing screening remain barriers to care.

GeBBS Foundation works to bring cervical cancer awareness, screening and treatment support closer to women in these communities, helping them access timely care.

The GeBBS Foundation works in the Jalna and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) districts of Maharashtra to help capable students continue their education and build meaningful careers, and to protect women from cervical cancer through awareness, screening, early detection and support for treatment.

Expand access to quality education for students in underserved communities who show strong academic potential.
Reduce the financial and practical barriers that cause capable students to discontinue their education.
Support students not only through their studies but into meaningful careers.

Raise awareness of cervical cancer in communities where the disease is rarely discussed and seldom detected in time.
Bring screening and early detection within reach of women who have limited access to diagnostic services.
Ease the financial burden of treatment for families who cannot otherwise afford care.

Environment

Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices in communities where local resources are under pressure.
Encourage tree plantation, waste management, and responsible use of natural resources through community-led initiatives.
Engage students, families, and local communities in practical actions that create cleaner and healthier surroundings.

Road Safety

Raise awareness about responsible road use and safer travel practices among students, families, and communities.
Promote the importance of helmets, seat belts, traffic rules, and other simple measures that can prevent serious injuries.
Conduct road safety campaigns and community activities that encourage safer behaviour for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.
